At Accent Custom Interiors, we customize our process for every job, but there are some things that never change. At the beginning, we will meet with you to discuss what you are looking for and spend time asking questions so we can really understand your needs. Then we will come up with a plan that accomplishes your objectives and fits within your budget.
- A complimentary 1 hour consultation is scheduled at your home. The purpose of the consultation is to gather information about your needs, interests, timeframes, and budget. It also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the design process and services.
- After the consultation, a proposal is forwarded to you for your review & approval. The proposal includes a summary of your project needs, the estimated hours and fees it will take to complete the project, a payment schedule, and terms & conditions.
- Once the proposal is accepted, a meeting is scheduled at your home to gather more detailed information about your design preferences with regards to style, fabrics, colors, etc. we can bring along style books which you can browse through and tag the things you like. While you are reviewing the books, we will take room measurements and photograph your space. Afterwards, we will go through the style book and discuss your design likes and dislikes. You are encouraged to share any pictures with us that you would have collected prior to our meeting.
- We develop a room plan, shop for furnishings, and present the plan to you in the form of floor plans, photographs, fabric swatches, wood samples, paint chips, accessories, etc.
- A meeting is scheduled after delivery of your furnishings to view your finished room(s) and determine if any final touches are needed and/or desired.
We will meet with you throughout the process to decide on materials and finishes, and of course keep you updated so there are no surprises along the way. We will always take care of every detail. We do not consider the job completed until every last piece is in place. Our customers know they can trust us to do each job to our very high standards—that means the world to us.
Window Treatments:
Shop at home for blinds, shades, and draperies. We bring sample books to your home, measure your windows, and provide installation services.
Are you so busy that you are afraid you will not have time to devote to your project?
We can accomplish a lot together electronically. We can e-mail floor plans and pictures of home furnishings and fabrics. Most of the clients we work with enjoy some combination of both: meeting in person and communicating electronically between meetings.

Your decorating style and budget will dictate where we go. Whether it's a custom sofa from a furniture supplier or accessories from a local retailer, it will be a selection that meets your needs, style, and budget.
